This was our first interview with Jason Moran.

Meet Pianist, Jason Moran.

We caught up with him at the APAP Association of Presenters of Arts Performers Conference in NYC.

He tells us about his CD All Rise In Elgy for Fats Waller, his appointment as artistic director at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and penning the musical score for the movie “Selma” about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
